Internal Family Systems (IFS) Coaching
End the battle with yourself and find space to flourish
Discover an approach that helps you feel free to be you
Internal Family Systems (IFS) offers a clear, compassionate way to understand your mind—and recognise the truth of who you are beneath the patterns you have developed.
It helps you see how past experiences, including those carried through families and generations, can continue to shape your thoughts, beliefs and behaviours today.
IFS can support change in at least two powerful ways.
Firstly, it offers a step-by-step process for working with specific patterns—or parts of you—that may be holding you back.
But IFS is more than a process. Its core principles can transform how you relate to yourself, other people, your work and your relationships.
At the heart of the model is a simple but radical idea: even the parts of us that behave in frustrating, unhelpful or harmful ways are often trying to protect us from pain.
When we understand this, the inner battle begins to soften—and space opens for compassion, healing and lasting change.

"I’ve worked with a number of different IFS Practitioners and with Madeline, there is a real commitment to the process of what IFS coaching can do. She understands it to the point where it creates a different level of shift than I've experienced before.
The stress, the anxiety, the worry, the doubt, the fear that I was feeling is noticeably different and as I work more and more with her, the results of how I'm feeling are stacking up.
It’s well worth my time and energy and money to be working with Madeline. She's really world-class at what she does."

Coaching FAQs
-
People start working with a coach for many different reasons — one-to-one or in a group.
Perhaps it’s a moment in your life where a re-set would be really useful - you may just want to take a step back and look at how you’re spending your precious time and attention, or you may have just been, or are about to go, through a big life transition.
Often, people come to coaching without the specific knowledge of what needs to shift in their inner or outer worlds - they just have a knowing that something’s not quite working the way it should in their lives.
Coaching offers the chance for a full life review, support in determining what’s really important to you, and from there, taking action - before time passes you by.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a way of understanding how our mind and subsequently, our thought and behaviour patterns and life perspectives adapt to the events of our lives, our upbringing, and the environment and culture we live in, up to the present day.
The approach, when used effectively by trained and highly informed practitioners, offers a route back to who we are at our core. By healing the parts of us that became embroiled in protective, unhelpful patterns, and creating harmony within that allows us to be freely ourselves.

What do you feel is the right next step for you?
If you don’t feel totally ready for a group experience - because you haven’t tried that kind of thing before - I’d encourage you to give it a go anyway!
If there’s something really specific you want to deep dive into, and get really tailored support with, try an individual session.
